A TEMPORARY PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY PROVIDED ACCESS
Public Building
Southampton, Hampshire
REQUIREMENT:
While repairs were underway, the client urgently required a durable temporary solution to cover a flood-prone, uneven surface—one that could withstand frequent use, seasonal weather changes, and constant exposure to water.
Our galvanised steel walkway proved to be the perfect choice. With rust-resistant components and a self-draining mesh surface, it prevented puddles from forming, reduced slip risks, and provided exceptional durability in all weather conditions.
In contrast, a wooden ramp would have been unsuitable, as wood deteriorates quickly in wet conditions, becoming slippery and unsafe due to water pooling on its surface.
