Glasgow Club Easterhouse, Scotland
RAMPS DELIVERED & INSTALLED WITHIN 48 HOURS
Modular Building
Glasgow, Scotland
REQUIREMENT:
During the pandemic, a temporary medical unit was erected in the car park to meet urgent local demand for Covid vaccinations.
Before it could open, it was essential to install ramps and steps that complied with Documents M and K of the Building Regulations.
Our systems were chosen because they could be fitted quickly, usually within 24 hours. In contrast, traditional building materials take much longer. For example, concrete ramps need at least 24 hours to cure, while timber ramps can take up to a week to install.
We prioritised this project and provided a detailed estimate within one hour of receiving the specification, ensuring a swift response to the client’s need.
INSTALLATION:
We instructed our fitters to start the installation forty-eight hours after receiving the initial measurements. A quick response time was essential to ensure we met the strict project deadline.
The systems were ready for use immediately after fitting, allowing the vaccination centre to open on time. In contrast, if a concrete or timber ramp had been chosen, their lengthy setup times would have caused delays.
We managed the entire process in-house—including the manufacturing, design, supply, and installation. This is standard practice to ensure that quality service and products are consistently delivered on every project.
Once the unit was no longer needed, it was relocated along with our modular systems, which the client easily dismantled and reassembled. Our systems can be reused, making them more environmentally friendly than alternative solutions.
