The design, supply, and installation of a modular ramp to the new mobile cataract suite located on the grounds of the Hospital.

The suite is playing a crucial role in helping the trust efficiently address the COVID-19 backlogs that inevitably accumulated during the pandemic, while also effectively reducing waiting times for Eye Care (Ophthalmology).

The mobile suite was a custom-built modular trailer constructed off-site and transported into position.

Both the trailer and the Rapid Ramp System feature a flexible modular design, and if required, both can be relocated to suit any site changes. In contrast, a concrete or wooden ramp, being a single-use system, lack the same degree of adaptability.

Our internal teams successfully designed, supplied, and installed a Rapid Ramp that adhered fully to Parts M and K of the Building Regulations.

The installation was finished within a four-day timeframe
