The Tintagel Castle Footbridge connects the two sections of the Castle.

During essential maintenance work, a temporary walkway was required to provide workers with safe, slip-resistant access. Given the bridge's exposure to harsh weather conditions, it was imperative to implement a durable and impact-resistant solution.

Our modular walkway proved to be the ideal choice. Engineered with safety in mind, it features a slip-resistant surface with small mesh openings that facilitate efficient water drainage, thereby significantly reducing the risk of slips and falls.

Additionally, the steel handrails are coated with nylon, a material known for its low thermal conductivity. This ensures that the handrails remain comfortable to the touch, even in cold and damp conditions.

Our in-house design team produced a detailed 3D model and 2D plan of the walkway layout, which were included with the client’s quotation to assist with planning and approval.

Once the PO was approved, the components were swiftly picked, packed, and dispatched within 24 hours. The contractor's in-house installation team efficiently installed the walkway, using our instructional video and manual as a guide.

Upon completion of the work, the walkways will be dismantled, with delivery scheduled as necessary. The components will then be stored in our warehouse, ready for reuse in future rental projects.
