The existing discoloured timber ramp became slippery when wet, and moss build-up on the surface contributed to this. Therefore, the client required a metal slip-resistant alternative.

Moss does not grow on our galvanised steel ramps as it may on wooden ones; this is because our self-draining mesh allows water to pass through, leaving no moisture for moss to thrive on.

The mesh is manufactured from galvanised steel; galvanising is a process that involves applying a protective zinc coating that prevents rust and kills moss.

Our in-house design team created detailed 3D and 2D drawings of the system, which were provided to the client with their quotation.

The wooden ramp was dismantled and replaced with a metal Rapid Ramp.

The installation only took a few hours to complete.
