The benefits of a modular walkway solution

Platforms have a loading capacity of 1,000kgs to safely support high footfall and different surface options are available, including:

  • Standard Mesh Walkway - this surface comes as standard with our modular ramp. The product is self-draining, allowing water to pass through rather than puddle on the surface and potentially freeze.

  • GRP Walkway - A slip-resistant and non-corrosive surface that is ideal for areas with high footfall such as schools and public spaces.

  • Safetread Rubber Crumb Surface - This is a soft, slip-resistant surface that reduces the impact of falls.  The product is made from the same materials used in soft play areas and is ideal for nurseries, schools, and public spaces/ buildings.

Walkways and steps were required between the modular classrooms.

Rapid Ramp successfully delivered the project within the tight deadline whilst complying with COVID-19 working conditions.

Chelmsford Waste Pipe Project

An earlier project saw our modular ramp be installed over pipes, creating a walkway.

Whilst major repairs occurred underground; pipes were installed above ground. The temporary walkway allowed the public access routes to stay open throughout the works.
